In the time that we have been away I started doing some small sculpts and casting them in latex...

Thank you Mel for bringing the board back to life. I would love to see this place get hopping again. We are coming into a new season for conventions and I am sure there is a lot of great work being done out there. Here's hoping that we see some life around here soon!

i am not to sure on were to post this as ther dosn't seem to be much in the way of jewlery but this is what i have been working on of late. it isn't much but it keeps me busy they are made of Brass and cut out by hand with a fine saw. it takes about 2 hours to make one from the very beginning.

Hellraiser surgeon costume

Well i made a costume up for a fan film based on the hellraiser series, i used my existing surgeon mould and made up a chest piece to go with it, i would have liked to make a full costume but they didnt have the budget for it, heres a couple of quick pics, not the full costume on this one

Made this suit about a year ago but did not have the shape for wearing it. Been eating right and exercising and I am about halfway to my target wieght and thought I would try this on again.Still need boots and at least ten more pounds of wieght loss but I am getting much happier with how this suit looks on me.

Well after lurking on the lair for a while seeing people talking baout pre costumes but having little money to make one that looked half decent....I saw a thread about a cardboard BIO...Well you know me and card...and after seeing a chap on Youtube called featherweights work on anime stuff I knew it was possible....Well I sat down whilst I waited for some platsil gel 10 to cure and shredded the box the silicone came in....All in an afternoon, no templates, just the idea and a shape in mind I...

I sculpted this kit last year and I am finally selling copies.

The kit is called "The Little Guy" because this was the
first time I ever sculpted something that small.
And when I was working on it I just kept calling him the little guy.

This was my first time working with Sculpey- I am not too
found of Sculpey- its kind of rubbery. But thats what I was
told allot of the kit sculptors used.

So I went and saw Transformers last night. This is an excellent movie. It definately earned it's PG-13 rating (it more had the feel of a movie that knew it wouldn't be PG so didn't try to be kiddiefied than a movie that should have been R that was stripped down to let the under 17 crowd in). Except one character who is obviously a humor character, everyone was actually competent at what they were doing. Don't want to go in spoiler territory so I'll just say that by the time the movie was...

Working on making a nice new Davy Jones mask for my costume. I have pretty much found that the mask is really the beauty part of this costume, and that you have to focus the major efforts on that. I am doing it as a multi piece mask so the jaw will move seperately and the tentacles and octopus sack will also be seperate parts. This is what I have ready to mold so far...
